Q. 2. What kind of shipping do you use?
Our shipping is done using USPS priority ground shipping which typically takes 3-5 business days to reach you depending upon your location. We send you the tracking number so you can track your shipment.
Q. 3. My test is in 2 days and I want the materials right away. Can you ship using overnight shipping?
Yes, we can do the shipping overnight. However please be aware that it is very expensive to ship overnight and most people once they find out the cost they don’t want to do overnight anymore.( an example : upto1 lbs to ship overnight in the U.S is about $ 130 depending upon location) If you are o.k with that kind of pricing, we ask that you pay for the shipping yourself by going on the UPS, USPS or Fedex website and once prepaid then send us shipping label via email to [email protected] .
Also if you are paying for your own shipping then while purchasing it on the website choose the “local pick up ” option so you do not automatically get charged for shipping from our website.

Q. 4. Do you ship internationally ?

Q. 5. Do I need to open a paypal account because thats where it takes me after checkout. ?
No, you do not need to create a paypal account to pay . You will be directed to paypal after checkout. Click on “create account” then enter the credit card of your choice. This does not mean that you are creating a paypal account.
Q. 6. Where is the course held. ?
All dental courses are held at our clinic location: 414 South Main Street, Milpitas, CA-95035. This is also the location for pick up of any dental supplies if you live in the bay area and wish to pick up materials instead of having them shipped
Q. 7. Where can stay while I attend the course. ?
There are numerous motels and hotels close to our office in Milpitas. These 3 are within easy walking distance.

Q. 8. Which Airport should I fly into if I am coming for your course. ?
You can fly into any one of these 3

4) Is there Bus , Train service or Taxi service ?

5) Can I buy/rent instruments at the course?
Yes if there are any instruments, burs, materials, typodonts, mounts etc that you want to purchase please give us a list and you can buy on location using a cash, check or credit card of your choice.
Q. 9. Can I pay for the course with a credit card?
You can book your spot by paying the $ 100 deposit via credit card/paypal. The remaining amount is required by cash or check ONLY payable to Dr. Puneet Sandhu.
Q. 10. What time does the course start? Can I stay afterwards to practice?
The course starts at 9:30 and we end at 5:30 on both days. There is a 30-40 min lunch buffet break. We close after the course. Most of our participants stay after the course for extra practice days which can be booked. The cost is $ 100 per day ( 8 hrs) which can be split into 2 days of 4 hrs each .Slots get booked fast closer to bench test days so check for availability with Denise by calling 408-934-0693 or email [email protected] .
Q. 11. What is taught in the course?
Dr. Sandhu typically teaches the most commonly asked preps like PFM anterior and posterior, Full gold crown on upper and lower molars, Class 2 amalgam on various teeth. Each prep is demonstrated on the typodont. She also teaches about the hand instruments and burs to be used so you are familiar with them. There are many models of preps and notes that you may use to help you .She may be able to customize it for you and teach extra preps like MOD onlay, 3/4 cown, amalgam carving etc . Please check ahead of course to see if this is possible.
Q. 12. Do I need to bring anything with me to the course?
No you do need to bring anything with you. We will provide all instruments, burs, typodont, mount, handpiece, and notes etc. The teeth you prep and the provided notes are yours to keep.
Q. 13. Are any online classes offered?
Since a lot of dentists who are attending the Bench Test have been out of touch with clinical dentistry it is very important to have a hands on course where a step by step demonstration is given. While you are prepping it is critical to have a mentor on hand, to teach you how to achieve optimal results and to give onsite feedback. This cannot be achieved in online classes. We do believe watching Youtube videos of various preps are helpful,but only as an adjunct ,AFTER you have taken a course. We may add online courses in the future.
Q. 14. I want to work as a dental assistant. How can I do that?
You may be able to work as an assistant by getting certified in X rays, coronal polishing, Sealants ( In California) .Please check your State dental board website for the requirements. It is also a good idea to get a CPR license through the American Heart Association , Red Cross or your local dental society. These typically cost $ 45-$100 and are a one day class.
Q. 15. What instruments/materials do I need to buy for home practice for the Bench test?How much does it cost to buy everything?
We have a comprehensive list of materials you may need for practicing for the dental bench test conducted by various schools.
Please remember that you may need some or all of them. The optional ones are also listed. Cost depends on this.For example USC dental school requires a wax carving of a tooth therefore you will need wax blocks and lecrons carver. However other schools do not require this and therefore if you are not planning on applying there then no need to buy these.
Q. 16. Do you do international shipping?
Yes we ship internationally using 2 methods. Please make your choice which depends upon the level of service you want.
option 1 – regular mail through USPS- costs less ( approx $ 20-$ 35 for upto 1 lbs). Takes 10 to 15 days. Only custom receipt mailed but there is NO tracking number
Option 2 – Fedex- costs more (approx $ 130 for upto 1 lbs) takes 5-7 business days and a tracking number is sent to you.
